Meet Leia - Portland
Oh, sweet Leia. This vintage model gal is just about as easy going and low maintenance as they come. Great with anything that breathes, she prefers to sleep away her days and is just looking for a comfortable place to spend her retirement.
At 9 years old Leia was found wandering all alone in the desert near Elko, NV where she was taken to the local shelter. When no one came for her after weeks of sitting there, we couldn't bear the thought of her spending Thanksgiving in a shelter and not a home.
So that's exactly where she is now. Leia is being fostered in Portland, OR with two other dogs, two cats, and two humans. She loves them all, but loves the couch the most. She's quiet, good on leash, house trained, good in the car, and loves stuffed animals. At 53lbs. she is the perfect size for cuddling.
