Hi, I'm Poe, an 8-year-old black-brown tabby cat. Life is very scary for me right now. I lost my former home in sad circumstances and it's really hard for me to adjust. I'm learning how to feel safe and to trust humans again. I am used to living with other kitties; it's people and new places that are so hard for me. I need someone with a huge heart and a ton of patience because I may be a shadow under your bed for quite a while before I warm up and start to reveal the tender heart behind my scared eyes.
