My name is Haley and I’m new in town! Looking for someone to hang out with and show me what the area has to offer. When I first arrived I was a little unsure about my move. A little edgy and nervous I guess you could say. This is a big change for me. I was born and raised in Texas but I wasn’t happy there. I lived amongst a large crowd where I felt like I was becoming invisible. I needed a change. A new beginning. Something fresh and something I could call my own.

9 years young and looking forward to the next chapter of my life. It’s going to be exciting. I’m told it’s going to be a more comfortable life. One surrounded by people I love. I promise to be a loyal companion who will never leave your side. I’m learning to appreciate food more so maybe I can sample some of your cooking. NH is a little cooler than Texas was so I often times find myself chilly. I’m a Greyhound / Catahoula mix who would love to have a wardrobe to keep me pleasantly warm and stylish. After all a girls gotta look good at all times. You never know who you might see when you go out! At night can we cuddle by the fireplace or at least nuzzled under the blankets? There is nothing I’d cherish more than to spend some quality time with you.

I’ve made a couple friends in the short time I’ve been here both furry and human. My little side kick is my Maltipoo foster sibling. We get along great! I have so much fun with this pup I think I’d like to have another pup around when I find my new family. I’m kitty savvy and wouldn’t mind living with them either. Then there are kids! They play the day away with you. How could any pup not want their very own little human? I think having someone around to pass the time with when you’re gone would be my ideal home. This way I don’t get lonely. More than anything in the world I want someone to love and them to love me. I’ve waited so long for this life I dreamt of to come along. Please don’t make me wait longer. I’ll give you my heart if you simply hold my paw.

Haley will arrive mid November from TX. If you are interested in her please stop by the shelter and fill out an adoption application. We do many approvals on applicants prior to dogs arriving. You and your family will always meet the dog you are applying for prior to finalizing the adoption to make sure this dog is the right fit for your family. You will not be able to meet until you have an approved application as our transport dogs spend time in our great foster homes. Note: As with all of our dogs, we strongly recommend obedience classes for new owner and dog to create a life-long bond with the adopted dog based on trust, respect and rewarding training experiences. We are offering dog training classes through FMAS Wagtime Dog Training. You can check out more information at www.fmaswagtime.com. We can help you train practical skills you use every day with positive reinforcement training. Our shelter dogs are strays and we observe and assess their behavior at the shelter which may be somewhat different in a home environment. In addition dogs adopted from the Manchester Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped and have received their Rabies and distemper vaccinations as well as other necessary medical care such as flea treatment. All dogs are also heartworm tested. Some prudent care such as heartworm medication is not provided at the shelter and should be taken care of at the earliest convenience upon adoption.
