Bo Cattle Dog & Australian Shepherd Mix Portland, OR

Meet Bo! He is a deaf 9-month old Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog/Catauhula mix, full of energy and love. He is very smart and willing to learn. He LOVES the frisbee and can already catch it from a distance. He will need lots of attention, exercise, and stimulation to keep his smart mind busy and would make an excellent agility dog. He would love to do any and all activities, hiking, beach, running, as long as he is with you and getting the attention he craves. Bo is deaf, but that doesn't slow him down! He is learning hand signals very quickly and is eager to learn more. Bo is neutered, up to date on shots, microchiped, and house broken.

His adoption fee is $250, which includes one free training with one of the trainers here at Deaf Dogs of Oregon.

Deaf dogs can be trained like any other dog, and our nonprofit offers support and assistance with our deaf adoptees. We have monthly meet-ups for humans and the deaf dogs, for play time but also to share stories, challenges and victories. The members of Deaf Dogs of Oregon each have their own deaf dogs, and are passionate about education to prevent deafness in dogs, as well as demonstrating the joy that deaf dogs can bring to your life!
