Amy Labrador Retriever Mix Cincinnati, OH

Amy came to STAF when her foster home was having medical issues and became concerned that they could no longer care for Amy. Amy is an adorable adult lab mix.

Amy gets along great with other dogs and she also seems to like her feline friends. Amy can be a little timid when meeting new people, but she certainly has come a long way. With a little patience and lots of love Amy gains confidence and quickly becomes your forever best friend.

Amy loves to play with her toys as well as with other dogs, but she loves nothing more than playing in the dirt and water. :o) But then again, who doesn’t ? Amy is incredibly serene, sweet, gentle and she rides great in the car!

Amy has a very calming demeanor and is magic on leash, this girl is a dog walker's dream! If you like long walks with your best friend, Amy could be your girl.

To top it all off Amy is not a big barker, she is somewhat bird-like and seems to chirp instead of barking (in fact we don’t think we have ever heard her bark…not to say she won’t…but nothing so far?)

Amy is pretty darn special.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.


You must complete an application at the shelter prior to meeting any of our animals. (Sorry--our application is not available on-line or via email.)
We do not do same-day adoptions; we ask that you return for a follow-up visit before taking an animal home.
We require a fenced yard (sorry--no invisible fences) for homes with children under age 11.
We do request vet and personal references.
At this time, we are only able to consider applicants within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
