Hello! My name is Patch. I am a 4-year-old Jack Russell, and I only weigh about 13 pounds! I'm just a little guy, like a pocket pup! I'm so happy that I came to JRTRO. As you can tell from my pictures I am a very handsome and happy little dog.

I love my new foster life. Especially going for walks. I love to run around, in fact, when I go to my forever home, I really hope that there a big yard for me. Want to know why? I. LOVE. MY. BALL! I love to chase after it and toss it and run with it. I love you ball (happy sigh). I play with other toys too but man, I love my ball! I’ll also play tug of war with my foster bro. I even like joy riding in the car!

I absolutely adore being around you all the time, I’m like your little shadow following you everywhere. I will sit at your feet, or if you let me, I’ll curl right up in your lap. My foster mom calls me her little Cuddle Bug. I'll lie on you on cuddle up next to you, I just love being close and getting love. Next on my list of things that I love is a good old fashioned belly rub -- talk about bliss! Sometimes I even let out little moans when you do it because I just love my belly rubs so much!.

I'm very good about going about my business outside, and getting a treat when I come in makes it all worthwhile. You know, you could get me to do a lot for a treat; I'm rather fond of them. Dreaming of getting the next one. (sigh)

I am very good in the house while you’re away, so good that I don't even need to go in the crate! Foster mom says I'm a little super star, a super star cuddle bug!

One more thing I would like to mention about me. I have a little limp from my former life. I can’t tell you what happened to me (I only speak dog) but I do have a little limp. The good news is, it doesn’t stop me from being the most joyful, happy, little dog. I jump, run and play with no problem. I can’t wait for a new home where I know I will never be hurt again!

I’m a fun and lively little guy, with tons of love to offer you. I just want to be a faithful and loyal companion, and if you are inclined you can tell me how handsome I am, because as you can see, I really am. My dream is for a lovely yard and country home where I can chase the ball and love you up. I might like a sister, but I would also be very good as an only boy. I think a new family with Jack experience would be best for me too. Maybe we could even do some classes together! That would be really fun and it would make our bond even stronger than I know it will be, because I already love you, I just haven't met you yet!
