Ebby is a sweet adult Chihuahua who has lived with one family her entire life. When Ebby's owner became ill, CRT agreed to bring Ebby into our program to provide her a loving home, and to help her find another forever family who will love her just like her first family has.

Ebby is a perfect little lady. She is very smart and has taught herself how to use the doggie door in her foster home. Ebby loves to go outside and enjoy nature. She explores the yard, and she especially loves to lay in the sun when the weather is nice! Ebby also enjoys "talking" to the neighbor's dog through the fence. It is so cute to watch them interact with each other. One of Ebby's favorite activities is to go for walks. She will go to the front door and will encourage her humans to grab and leash and go exploring with her! She has great energy for an adult dog.

After her time outside, Ebby enjoys coming inside and relaxing. She LOVES her humans and is a huge cuddle buddy. When you are ready to relax and watch TV, Ebby will be right there with you snuggling on your lap and being your best friend. She will also burrow into one of her several doggie beds to chill out. At night, Ebby will sleep in a doggie bed but she prefers crawling into bed and snuggling up with you for a good nights sleep!

Ebby gets along fine with the other small dogs in her home. She would be a great only dog as her favorite thing is to be with humans. She tolerates the other small dogs in her foster home, and even ignores them if humans are around! Ebby is not comfortable around larger dogs, therefore would not be a good fit for a family with a larger dog. We also have noticed that loud noises tend to startle her (but loud noises startle us humans too!). Due to her mellow nature, we believe she would do best in an all adult home that is laid back and moderately active.

Ebby is very smart. She is 100% potty trained. She learned how to use doggie stairs to climb up and down. Ebby picked up the routines in her foster home immediately and easily fit in to the family. She is a great size at 5 pounds. Ebby is an adult dog and is about 11 years old. She has great energy for her age. Remember that small dogs tend to live 15 - 18 years, so Ebby has many great years ahead. If you would love a smart, loyal, snuggler as a part of your family, won't you consider adopting Ebby?

Ebby is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?


This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $250 adoption fee required. As part of our mission to reduce the number of unwanted and sick dogs, we require that all current pets are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and taking heart worm prevention. Applications will not be considered if one or more of these requirements are not met.
