Ace #27 Yellow Labrador Retriever Mix Killingworth, CT

Ace is an amazing 2 year Labrador who is fantastic around children, and a great family dog. He has an extremely playful spirit and loves to be part of the "mix" at all times. He is completely house broken and is not destructive at all, although he does like a good lounge on the sofas and kids beds. He is not great on a leash but is very receptive to training; he has been trained on an electric fence and he was very quick to pick up on the commands and learn his boundary's. Ace is often weary around men when he first meets them, he will put his head down and sniff them curiously; after a short time he warms up. We suspect that his original may have been abusive in some way so please be mindful of that when training and correcting him, he can be sensitive. He also plays nicely with other dogs. The family is heartbroken to be losing Ace however they are moving and it will not be possible for him to join them sadly. He has such a special place in their hearts especially the two 5 year old boys; they will miss him terribly.
