Meet Leah

Leah arrived in May of 2015 and currently weighs about 67 pounds. She had been abandoned on the side of the road, with no food or water. She is shy but trusting to those offering kindness. She has blossumed at the shelter, looking much better than when she first arrived. She is now ready for her forever home. Leah may be best as the only dog,(we do not recommend her with other females). She would do best in a home with junior high aged children. She should adjust to a cat, but loves to chase rabbits, squirrels, and all things small. So use caution. She will require a fenced-in yard. Leah loves to play with toys, she especially loves rubber squeak toys and soft squishy squeakers. Leah has a lot of love to share with the right family.

*Leah's adoption fee is $100. All HSSCM dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and on a monthly flea/heartowrm prevention.*
