Hello,
My name is Ralph! I'm about 9 years old and patiently awaiting a forever home with people who will love me until the end of time. I love my people dearly and enjoy going places. I love going for walks and every time I see a leash, I wag my whole body in excitement! I'm a super mellow, laid back guy who appreciates the fine art of napping. I really hope my new home has some cozy places to nap. I have gone home with a volunteer here who had a two year old son, a cat and other dogs. The little boy, I avoided for the most part. He was too busy and made me a tad nervous. With older children who know to respect my space and go slow, I'd be wonderful. I am a tad embarrassed to admit that I'm kind of afraid of cats. Most of the time when they pass me, I get as flat to the ground as possible and close my eyes so that I appear invisible. Other times I see the cat, if I'm feeling brave, I'll chase him. When I get too close to him though, I run back to where I came from. I get along with most other dogs and as we speak I'm curled up on my laptop, on the couch with my buddy, Lucky. I'm pretty much potty trained, but you'll need to watch the subtle ways I tell you I need to go potty. I do have one flaw, I love my people so much that I want to hog them to myself. So I tend to be people possessive when it comes to other animals. So if you're petting me and you go to pet another animal, sometimes I'll growl at the other animal so I can have you all to myself. Other than that, I think I'm quite the catch. Many people have over-looked me and passed by my kennel, but there are so many bonuses to adopting a senior dog. For one, I won't eat your favorite shoes. I'll love you unconditionally, and when you're busy I'll go take a nap. Please come meet me and let's get to know each other!
Dog adoption fee is $159. This includes the spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate current vaccines (bordetella, distemper, rabies), microchip, and preventative flea treatment.

These are rescue dogs, and we do not have any further information regarding behavior, training or past experiences.
For the safety of the dogs, we need to verify residency for all adopters. Renters, please bring a copy of the lease showing that you are allowed to own a dog. Homeowners, please bring a copy of a mortgage statement proving you own your own home. We also require a copy of a utility bill with your name and address for all adopters.
