Meet Sarasota
Sarasota is named for a city with lots of sunshine as she will bring sunshine to your life. Transferred from a kill facility, Sarasota had experienced a break in one of her front legs and had to undergo corrective surgery with pins. She was fostered with the vet who did the surgery and then came here to us. We consider her "special needs" due to the previous injury, and she may from time to time need pain meds if it flares up. We will have a write up available from our vet to answer other questions. Sarasota has such a winning personality, so happy to please and love everyone! She is very much a staff and volunteer favorite here, and we would love to see her go to a family who has a little extra time for her. Of course she is spayed, microchipped, current on core vaccines and tested negative for heartworm, too.
