Isabella, frequently called Izzy, is a very special girl, indeed! She was rescued by HHS as a tiny kitten with her mom and brother. They both found homes, but Izzy kept getting looked over, so her foster parents adopted her.

But like so many kittens, Izzy's personality was still developing. Whereas she got along well with the other cats in the house when she was young, as she grew (she's about 1 now), she began to show a territorial side, especially with one cat in particular. After a lot of soul searching, her parents made the heartbreaking decision that she would be happier as an only cat in a quiet, loving home.

Just because she doesn't like other cats, doesn't mean she isn't absolutely wonderful! She loves one-on-one time with her people, and enjoys talking while walking around. She's a bit of a diva, and craves attention. She loves running water, and sticks her head in the shower each morning to lick the tiles. She's very routine oriented: she knows when breakfast is, where morning nap time is, when it's playtime and of course dinner and night cuddle time.

Whoever sweet Izzy picks as her people are going to be very lucky, indeed! With her silky black fur and tufts of white in her ears and on her belly, she's absolutely gorgeous! Give this little one a chance and she'll be loyal to you forever!
