Meet Connie!! Connie is the sweetest girl you will meet ever. She loves cuddling with you and always loves being pet and rubbed after she warms up to you and understands you love her. She loves to nuzzle into while waiting for head rubs. Connie likes toys, but one toy that you would never think of is a blankie. She loves carrying that around with her when she is hanging out. When she see you or ay of her friends, she will wiggle her whole backend back and forth. This girl was left behind when her family moved away and could not take her. She was sad at first, but now has realized that she will find her true forever family. Connie would do best with a family and older children or a single young couple. She would like to on walks or hang out with all her new friends she meets. She is just such a sweetheart! Just give her a bit of time to open up and trust you. Connie is almost housebroken. Don't miss out on her. If you think she is the one for you email for an application.

If you would like to adopt Connie, please contact Dawn at dawndoubledog@gmail.com.

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

VETTING NOTE: Double Dog Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.

HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
