Hiya! My name is Banjo, cool name eh!
I’m just a little guy only 8.5 lbs and 9 months old. And I have to say I had a pretty sad start in life. I was living with people who didn’t love me or care for me… heck they didn’t even give me a name, that’s why Banjo is the BEST NAME EVER. Well I guess any name I have is the best name ever cause I never had one before!

Foster mom is really smart and she figured out pretty fast that I had a sore leg and took me to a doctor! He was pretty neat but he made me wear a hard thing on my leg for a while because he said that I had a fracture that had never been treated. I knew something wasn’t right! Now I am walking just fine and happy that the hard thing is gone!

Before I came to live with Foster mom I never got to eat proper food either so the doctor also saw that I had a tooth that he needed to pull out. I feel ever so much better since he did. He said that all the good food that I’m eating now will make my teeth nice and strong.

I’m a pretty laid back guy even though all these mean things were done to me. I just need a couple of walks a day, a wrestling match and lots of cuddles and I’m a happy boy. I like to go for car rides and I haven’t had an accident in the house in ages, I’m still learning so much, but I’m a really quick learner. Foster mom and dad, take me out for lots of breaks so that I don’t make a mistake and when we go out they always remind me to go potty. They are so nice to me. They always help me to be a good boy.

I like all dogs and cats and I do love my people. Foster mom nicknamed me Velcro cause I’m so sticky :) -- two names! how awesome! I sleep in a crate beside Foster mom’s bed at night. I really like to be close, it makes me feel safe and happy and I can dream happy dreams now.

If you asked me what my dream home would be I would say I think a lot about living with a gentle, loving family because I am still a little bit sensitive. I will need someone to help me continue to get used to a leash because the other people I was with used to leave me out with big chains attached to my neck. So Foster mom is trying a harness thingy and trying to help me. I like to wrestle and hang out with my foster brother and sister, so maybe a buddy would be a good thing too, since you’re asking! Do you think that you could be the right family for me? Would you let me lay in your lap and give me lots of gentle love? Please fill in an application and let’s see if we are the right forever fit!
