MY AGE: approx. 4 yrs WEIGHT: approx. 13-14 lbs. WHERE I AM FROM: AL (arrival 8/1)
MY STORY: 7/9 Sylvester had some serious skin issues but his hair is growing in nicely now that he is flea free and getting a little TLC.
He is the best dog ever. He does his potty stuff outside like a good dog. He is super calm and laid back. He will play with the other dogs but is not yappy and never jumps up. Sylvester asks nicely for any favor - a pet, a lift to the bed, a treat. a snuggle. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. He just wants to be loved. He would probably enjoy a friend as he has bonded with one of my Shihtzu babies and rarely lets him out of sight. He even waits for his friend before going outdoors.
Sylvester has no front teeth??? It looks like he has worn them down from a bad bite. However, this hasn't affected his appetite at all but does mean that he has trouble picking up kibble when it is on the floor, lol. And, when given a treat he lays down to hold it with his front paws so that he can bite it with his back teeth.
Sylvester has wonderfully HUGE ears - the better to hear you say, "I love you" with.
This dog does shed and is not hypoallergenic.

Our dogs are located in foster homes throughout the state. We do not have a facility. Adopters must be 24 years old.We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
