Copper - Playful pup! Chihuahua & Boston Terrier Mix Franklin, MA

Wanna play? My name is Copper and I love to play! I am an 11 lb Chihuahua/BostonTerrier boy with a charming underbite. I am estimated to be about 3 years old. I bark ferociously when I see people and dogs that I don't know but if you let me take a few minutes to size you up (and offer me a few treats), I will probably end up in your lap licking your face. I go in my crate on my own to play with toys and relax when my foster mom is busy. I will cry softly if you close me in though. I would much rather be with my people. I get along great with my foster dog brother. He is a big guy. Whenever he is not looking, I love to sneak over and grab his bone to chew on. We go back and forth. I steal his, he steals mine but we never fight (all right, hardly ever). I just love toys I can chew on like deer antlers and rawhide bones but don't waste your money on those stuffed toys. They won't last long around me and you will have a room full of fluff. I love to play in the yard, go for walks and snuggle on the couch when I am tired out.

I am good about doing my business outside. I will bark to let you know I need to go. If you tell me to go potty and don't let me back in until I have taken care of all my business, there will be no accidents. I never have accidents in my crate.
I have been neutered,am up to date on vaccinations, am negative for heartworm and Lyme disease and am microchipped. I am happy in my foster home but oh so ready for a home I can call my own. If I could have a friendly, non-aggressive doggie brother or sister, I would be over the moon! Please make my dream come true.

I am being fostered in Franklin, MA and my adoption fee is $350. A real bargain for what you will be getting!

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
