Lilac Labrador Retriever Houston, TX

Look into my big brown eyes… how can you say no to eyes like these! I tell you, it's not possible! My name is Lilac, but some also call me Lily. You can call me yours! I've been told by EVERYONE who meets me that I'm incredibly sweet and loving (and I hear "everyone" is a lot of people!). My tail is always wagging and when I get really happy my entire backside wiggles. I'm so excited and I just can't hide it.

I love walks around the neighborhood and if you like to run, that's even better. If not, that's cool too - we can just take the scenic route and sniff the grass and everything else along the way. My most favorite thing in the whole world is belly rubs. I LOVE them. I'll drop to the floor in a second for a nice belly rub. What can I say, they just feel so good. My foster mom says I do GREAT on car rides! Personally, I find them kind of relaxing. Let me shower you with kisses. Come on... you won't be disappointed!

Foster update: Lilac (Lily) is completely house-trained and sleeps through the night. She has come to love squeaky toys. Her favorite right now is one that can only be heard by dogs (how great is that)! She is curious, but is well mannered and gets along well with other dogs - though she doesn't care so much for the feline species. She would be a great fit for a family with kids or active adults.

Lilac is a 60 lb., 4 yr. old Lab mix. She is up to date on all vaccines and is micro-chipped. If you are interested in Lilac, please contact tauna@barriodogs.org
