Meet Breann: Adopted!
9/30/2014
5/13/2015: Breann is an adorable 7 month old Australian Cattle Dog mix. She’s very friendly and a sweet-natured girl. She’s playful and loves playing with other dogs. If you have a dog, you could make an appointment to bring your dog in to meet Breann to see if they’d be a good match for one another. Breann currently weighs 31 lbs, so she’ll probably be around 50 lbs when fully grown. She is a talker and she can be a barker— we think she’ll be too vocal for apartment living.
Breann was brought to us by KCK Animal Control. She was a stray and she was sick with parvo virus. We hospitalized her and she’s made a full recovery. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms. She’s a cutie!
MORE ON ADOPTING OUR DOGS...
Please visit our web site at HSGKC.ORG for more information about our adoption process, our adoption fees and all that's included, and for a pet adoption application.
> Our goal is to send you home with a healthy pet and any information and support you may need to help your new pet adjust to his or her new home. All of our dogs & puppies have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas & ticks, tested for heartworms (7 mo. and over), and are on monthly heartworm preventative. Puppies who are too young to receive all the necessary puppy boosters and/or first rabies shot may be brought back to us for those vaccines at no extra charge. You will also receive a leash, collar, coupons for pet supplies and services, toys, and educational materials. And we'll give your dog a bath before he or she goes home!
> Please note that we prefer and may require a fenced yard for many of our dogs. Exceptions are made on an individual basis depending on the dog's needs, the person's dog experience, the dog's and person's activity levels, home environment and other factors.
> An application is required to adopt a pet and applicants must meet our adoption requirements. If you decide you'd like to adopt one of our dogs, we reserve the pet for you but we generally don't send the dog home with you that same day.
Thank you for searching for a shelter pet!
