Maverick (Neutered) - Bonded Pair w/Willow Domestic Short Hair Marietta, OH

"Maverick" is a handsome 2-year old male kitty who was surrendered by his family on May 8, 2015 along with "Willow" who is his best friend/companion. Their family was heartbroken to part with their beloved pets and wrote this description of their behavior/personalities which we want to share with potential adopters/rescue groups ... My fiancee and I unfortunately had to put Willow and Maverick up for adoption today. We tried everything in our power to keep this from happening but we've come onto some hard times recently and my fiancee has medical problems that have caused us to be in-and-out of the hospital. That life isn't what we waned for Willow and Maverick. I can honestly say that they are the sweetest, funniest cats that I've ever had the please to call my own. Maverick loves to call for attention and is the biggest cuddle bug I've ever met. He loves to play with balls and laser pointers. Willow is quiet and upon meeting someone new, she likes to perch on their shoulder. She has a blanket and a pet toy squirrel that she's really attached to. It kills to to see that they are so scared; they've both always been afraid of dogs so I know that the barking must scare them even more. Please know that these two are lovable, and they will make anyone great pets. They need each other; they truly are best friends"

"Maverick" has a black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a darling face with large golden eyes and a black button nose. This big boy is a very sweet kitty and cannot understand what he is doing in a cat tower with so many other kitties in the same room :( But at least he is with his soul mate "Willow" whom he depends upon for comfort and security. These two kitties are so bonded with each other that we feel it is in their best interest to be adopted together. "Maverick" is a fairly large boy who has already been neutered.
