Barkley Bichon Frise & Poodle Mix Orange, CA

Beautiful Barkley is an 11 month old, 20 lb bichon mix. It’s summer and Southern California so he’s sporting his recent summer cut but his white curls will be back! According to his foster Mom “Barkley is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever fostered.” He LOVES to snuggle and be with his human. Barkley is a playful little guy; he loves to chase balls (tennis, soccer, volleyball, he doesn’t care). He will keep himself entertained with his toys. He is active, but not puppy active (he isn’t destructive at all!). He’s good with a morning and late afternoon walk (he is great on a leash). He is extremely curious – he watches everything going on around him.

He does fine when his humans are out of the house (no separation anxiety). He gets along well with kids, other dogs and is curious about the neighborhood cats, but not in an aggressive way. Barkley is just about 100% on his housetraining, something he’s learned very quickly. He loves his car rides to drop the kids off at camp & pick them up. He is just a very sweet, well rounded dog. He can be a bit shy when he first meets someone, but give him 5 minutes and you’ll have a new best friend.

Barkley is neutered, current on all vaccinations and micro chipped. He is available for adoption in Southern California.
