Scruffy Japanese Chin Baltimore, MD

Hi! My name is Scruffy. I am looking for a home with older
adults that would like to stay at home and spoil me. Before
my human mom passed away, I was the only dog with two cats
and I received most all of the attention. I get along
with other chins and kitties, but I am more of a one dog owner, center of attention kind of guy. I am a little
possessive of my food so I have to be fed separately from the
other pets. I have never been taught how to have a soft mouth
so treats need to be fed on a flat hand, not by finger tips.
My foster mom brags about how smart I am and how I have not
had any accidents in the house. The trick is that I have
trained her to come to the door and let me out when I
whimper. The groomer says I am well behaved. I do like to
bark a bit, but just to let you know when something is
happening outside. I love attention and to have my belly
rubbed. When I want your attention to rub my belly I will
roll on my back, put my front paws together, and wave them in
the air. I will be 7 years old this summer and would love a new family for my birthday! Scruffy's adoption fee is $300.
