Meet Barney, a one year old Redbone Coonhound mix. Barney is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever met. He is so affectionate and loving. He just wants to be petted and loved on all day. It is truly amazing what a wonderful disposition he has considering the life he had before coming to our rescue. Barney was found with a large heavy chain wrap around his neck. It had been on there for so long and so tight that it had started to grow into his neck. When he was brought into the shelter by a Good Samaritan they had to literally cut it out. He was extremely emaciated, skin and bones. Yet, he somehow had the strength to break free of his chains. Barney is now safe and sound and on the road to recovery with his new foster home. His adoption donation is $200 and includes his surgery, neuter, microchip and vaccines. Barney is waiting for his forever family to find him so he can begin his new life.
