Meet Elsa

We hope you consider adopting a homeless dog from our shelter or any other shelter in the Mid South area. All our animals are tested for heartworms, vaccinated, microchipped and most are sterilized prior to adoption. Dog Adoption Application

Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from West Memphis Animal Services. We want to place our animals in permanent responsible homes and at the same time match you with a pet that is suitable for your family and your lifestyle.

Our Dog Adoption fee is $100.00 which includes: Current on all shots, Rabies, Spay or Neuter, and testing for heartworms, current heartworm and flea and tick prevention and microchipped.
**You must be at least 21 years old to apply for adoption.

48. Many breeds are now banned in apartments and by insurance companies. If you are applying for a rottweiler, german shepherd, akita, doberman, pitbull, chow, or other guardian type breed, have you checked with your homeowner's insurance to make sure that you are allowed to own the breed? If you are applying to adopt a rottweiler from us, what insurance company are you with?
