Leo-Adoption pending Chinese Crested Dog Bridgeton, MO

I was born to be in front of the camera! They shudda named me FABIO. I am one mighty handsome 6 yr old Chinese Crested (hairy hairless), but I am also very shy and I need someone who has patience to take things at my pace cuz I didn’t have a very good life before AAP rescue, I never got to stay in the big house, I always had to stay outside. I love my foster mommy, she lets me sit on her lap and tells me I’m the most gorgeous Crested boy ever, she lets me sleep in the big bed right by her side. Bedtime is my favorite, she says she can’t resist my root beer eyes and gives me kisses, scratches my tummy and I love it so much. Sometimes though I still get scared, I know my foster momma is not going to hurt me, but sometime I forget and try to get away from her. I don’t like my foster daddy very much, even though he’s always very nice and gives me treats, and when foster momma makes him hold me, he’s gives me kisses and scritches and says he wants to be my friend, but he still scares me. I am still working on my house training and need to be kept on a schedule. Foster mom says I still like to mark (whatever that means) so she has me wear a belly band when she’s not home to make sure I mind my Ps and Qs.The perfect home for me needs to be a quieter one. Oh how I’d love to have a single lady to call my own, but if they have to have a guy he has to be very patient with me and let me do things on my time. I really love going for walks on a leash but foster momma says I really should have a secure fenced yard like hers too. Car rides are fun too…sometimes I even get ice cream. I have doggy foster brothers and sisters and I get along with them all, but if I could be the only boy that would be awesome. My foster momma has two of those naked kitty cats….I think they’re kinda weird or something so I just ignore them. I am in my prime at 6 years old. Mom says I have had all my shots, Doc gave me the works and says I’m heartworm negative, microchipped, de-wormed, neutered, full blood work, and oh yeah, I don’t have a tooth in my head. When AAP rescued me, my teeth were very bad and so painful so Doc fixed me up good. I don’t require soft food (but I do love it), I eat dry kibble (softened with a touch of no-sodium added chicken or beef stock cuz foster mom spoils me). I am on monthly heartworm preventative and foster mom says I gotta have it every month forever. If you think I’m the love of your life, then I’m ready to go. My adoption fee is $300.00 (and that’s a bargain, I’m priceless cuz foster momma tells me so). *WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS.
