Meet Ruben!!!

Ruben is a 4 year old dachshund-hound mix. He weighs approx 35lb. He is neutered, current on vaccines, wormed, on flea/tick and heart-worm prevention, and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $175.

Poor Ruben and his little buddy Jackson were rescued in February from life on a chain. Ruben had what appeared to be frostbite on his ears and tail. He was scared, cold, and hungry. Now he's gained a few pounds, has a soft, warm bed to sleep in and gets love and kisses everyday. He's a happy boy! House training is progressing well. Bigger dogs that approach him too quickly do seem to scare him. He loves, loves, loves to PLAY. His best bud is his foster brother Uno. They are the same size and can tumble all day with no issues. Ruben also likes to rub against his foster mom like a cat. He has such a fun personality. A fenced yard is required to adopt Ruben. Come visit us at PetSmart on Veterans Parkway in Clarksville, Indiana every Saturday 11a- 3p. Weekdays by appointment. Not all dogs present, please contact us in advance to ask for a specific dog.
