RANGER Labrador Retriever & Border Collie Mix Louisa, KY

RANGER came to the shelter from the Webbville area of Lawrence County. Ranger showed up at a lady's house with another dog. Both dogs were very thin. She kept them long enough to get some weight on them and then found the other dog a home and we ended up with Ranger. Ranger is a very sweet boy and loves to run and play. He is young...around a year of age or so....and weighs around 40 lbs. He gets along great with the other dogs and the more the merrier for him as he loves to play. Ranger is solid black and has a medium coat. He is very handsome and his coat is dark and shiny. Being a Lab/Border Collie mix, he needs room to exercise and run and a fenced yard would be perfect for this boy. He does like his down time to relax as well. He is still very young so he isn't going to be a dog that will just lie around all day and sleep but if he can run and play in the yard, go to the park or for a walk or jog, he will do just fine. He is up to date on vaccinations and wormings and will be neutered prior to leaving the shelter.
