Meet Ben-Pending

This majestic guy is Ben - a 4 year old Rottweiler mix. He came into a shelter as a stray, put in the prison program for a year and then returned to the shelter. He was overlooked for 6 months because of being majority black in color. Unfortunately, black pets are overlooked daily due to their coloring. Ben knows basic obedience commands. He is a charmer and a sensitive dog. Ben rides nicely in a car. He is actually afraid of large dogs, but does awesome with small dogs. A fenced backyard would work well for him. Ben is now ready for adoption and would love to be included in your family activities. Please come see Ben!
