Big Dude is in his forever home. We are so happy he found a home the 2nd time around!

Our beloved, gentle, big ball of love Big Dude has quite a tale to tell! He remains the sweet boy he always was, but our poor 5.5 to 6 year old boy has been through a number of changes that most cats would not handle as well as this champion does.
The Dude was put outside when his original owners moved out of an apartment complex. After spending 7 months on the streets, he was trapped on a cold and rainy night and was licking his foster dad through the trap! He settled in right away, and wound up being fostered with 3 other cats for a little while until being adopted out to a loving home 2.5 years ago.
Unfortunately, Big Dude has come back to us through no fault of his own, and he was fostered by a very caring veterinarian in her own home for a week, where he was happy and received a lot of love and catnip, until room opened up with his original foster parent. He is taking his time adjusting, but has already been exploring, finding different napping spots and eating treats and catnip.
This Dude LOVES catnip, it is his favorite thing in the world! He’ll gently eat it right out of the palm of your hand the same way he does treats. He loves to sit on laps, lick hands as a token of affection, puts his forehead up to your mouth for a kiss and even occasionally a tiny love-bite! He can often be seen lying on his back or side, showing off how big and beautiful he is! The Dude is looking forward to finding a permanent home now and one or more humans to call his own for life!

Update - Big Dude is having a great time in his foster home, but he is looking forward to a new permanent home! Good with other cats or can be an only cat!

All cats are up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, tested for FeLV and FIV, and are spayed or neutered if they are 5 months of age or older. Kittens adopted under the age of 5 months will come back to Itty Bitty Kitty, Inc. to be spayed or neutered as part of our adoption agreement. All of this care is included in our adoption fee of only $75.00!
