What a sweetie-pie of a little lady! Gentle and kind, Carrie is a LAB MIX,
about 45 pounds, a real mutt--loving as can be, and a sensitive soul. If you
are looking for a dear companion, Carrie is for you. She had been turned in
by her owners along with PETEY to a gassing pound because they could no
longer care for the dogs. Great with other gentle dogs and ok with cats.

Carrie was diagnosed HEARTWORM POSITIVE (Lyme negative)) She will have the
first of 3 treatments on Feb 9/15, which will be covered by Gerdy's Rescues.
She'd love a home of her own during her treatments. She is estimated to be
1-2 years old, and is spayed and vaccinated.

Carrie LOVES gentle affection, and just BEING with you will bring her great
joy.
NOTE: While undergoing treatment for HEARTWORM, it is essential that this dog not be exercised more than just a short walk on leash, no running. To be as CALM as possible. Should be the ONLY animal in the house for the duration of the treatment, no running loose in the fenced back yard, or undue overexcitement or playing with another dog or running with kids. This is VITAL, to be kept quiet in a calm home during the treatment process.
