Meet Gidget

I am a shy, reserved little girl. This is a big place, and I am a small dog! It takes me a while to warm up to new people, especially men. A good scritch on the side of my neck certainly helps! Please just take it slowly until we get to know each other. I can be a bit dramatic with my crying when I get scared! As befits my stature, a "slow and low" approach is the best way to come say "Hi." Get it right, and I will follow you around for more! I am not much into play time or toys; a nice comfy couch is more my style. I do love to be around other dogs! I have been known to find my way into other yards to make new friends. I can be a little pushy about making buddies, so tolerant dogs are best. If you have a dog or two looking for a new pal, I might be just the low-key companion for you!
