My name is Huck and I’m a 4 year old male welsh corgi. I’m only 18 pounds but as you can see from my glamour photos, I’m a beautiful dog. I have a lot of energy and I’m looking for a home where I will get a daily walk and some games of fetch. I am very focused on my people and I make friends with people very easily. I’m trusting and sweet and like to cuddle. I know how to sit and come when called. When it’s time for a walk, I sit nicely by the door to get my leash attached. I am housebroken but I might feel the need to mark my new home until I feel established there. I have been sleeping in a crate and I go right in the crate when asked (but I really don’t need a crate because I’m not destructive at all). I bring my foster mom toys sometimes to play fetch. I know I sound like the perfect dog and I almost am – but I have one little issue. I don’t like other dogs. They make me scared and then I get mad and sometimes there’s a fight. Once at doggy day care some other dogs roughed me up, and I just never got over that. I’m not interested in getting training to get over this – it’s just the way I am now. If you want to be my person, you have to accept this and promise that I will be your one and only dog. Forever. You can’t take me to the dog park or doggy day care or a group boarding facility. I will be nice to all your human friends but not other dogs. I want my humans all to myself without any other dogs taking their attention. Just to be on the safe side, I need to go to a home without kids either, just in case another dog comes in the yard. I am up to date on my vaccinations, heartworm negative, and neutered, so I’m ready to find my new family! I am a love bug and CAN ONLY BE PLACED IN NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA OR GEORGIA.
