Duffy McFluff Australian Shepherd Mix Palatine, IL

Duffy McFluff is a wonderful and loving dog. He lives in a foster home with another dog, Breck, and gets along wonderfully with her and the other foster dogs he has lived with. He is not aggressive with them but also not very interested in playing. He really just wants to be around everyone. He especially loves to be around people and follows his foster mom everywhere after only a few days with her. Duffy already answers to his new name, knows "sit" and "stay", is crate trained and house broken. Duffy goes into his crate without any complaining and stays in it silently while his foster parents are at work and while they are sleeping. He very rarely barks and that is only when encouraged by other dogs. He is a very happy dog who is always wagging his tail. He enjoys being pet, giving you kisses, cuddling or chewing on bones. He is also a fantastic companion on walks or on car rides. Duffy will only jump up on furniture when invited. If you do invite him he is going to love cuddling with you! He may even smoother you in a few kisses before laying down to show you how much he appreciates you! Duffy is really an excellent dog with a lot of love and happiness to share.

If we do not receive any communication from you, he may be adopted out at our event prior to 12 pm if the perfect home comes along :-) Also, we only adopt our animals out near Chicagoland... we are sorry but we cannot accept any out of state applications.
