Meet Joey

“How YOU doin’?” Joey here. I was at the kill shelter when one of our rescue’s adopted parents and supporters saw me and could not imagine me being put down. She shared my story and pic with Mama Donna. We had just had a couple of adoptions and the timing was just right for me to join the gang here.

I’m a happy, healthy, young guy (maybe only a couple of years old). I have plenty of energy, but am also loving and playful. I love people … and I especially love giving kisses … and amusing everyone by crawling on my belly. But I only like the tall humans. I was around some small ones in a temporary situation and I did not react well. They scares me. Because of that, I will need to find a home where there are no children or one in which I can be crated and feel safe when they are visiting.
