Duffy's Friends matches dogs to families in the Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse area's . Because of the require visit many area's in Buffalo and Syracuse will not work as we only have one member in each city. We must respect the time of our volunteer's and the reason for this. We adopt to families with traditional fenced yards, children over 10 years of age and a prior history of owning a dog. You must be a home owner to adopt from our shelter.

This boy is a 1 yr. old Cavalier King Charles / Tibetan Spaniel mix. At least, that's what we now think.. A breeder out of New Jersey emailed us and told us she breeds both the Cav's and the Tibetian Spaniels and he was a mix of both.

He is neutered and super sweet. He makes for the perfect lap dog if you put him there, otherwise he does not get on the furniture. He is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and doesn't give any attitude - he is a lover. He weighs 16 lbs likes other dogs very much . He is one of the best dogs we have had this year. Very social and very well balanced dog. We can't say enough good things and wish all the dogs we receive during the year were as nice as this guy!

One of our most experienced fosters— a dog connoisseur, if you will— says that this dog is one of the sweetest she has ever cared for. He seems to fit the Cav personality to a tee. He is so wonderful that we are sure who ever adopts him will feel like they won the lottery - Mr. Personality. A true gem!
