**Check out my adoption video!** Sweet black and white Tux is a little boy with a big personality. He is an incredibly happy cat and loves life, celebrating just about everything with a loud purr, whether it's seeing you walk into the room, hearing your voice, or finding one of his favorite toys. Tux is very affectionate, and loves being held and cuddled. While he vanishes when he hears the doorbell ring, he is incredibly outgoing and loving with people he knows. Tux has boundless energy, and he will leap and flip through the air after his favorite feather bird on a string toy until he is literally exhausted and panting like a puppy. Tux loves other cats, but adult cats get tired of him pretty quickly, since he can’t help pushing their buttons and generally acting like an annoying younger brother. He is great with kittens though – Tux is so playful that they can’t resist each other, and being forced into a big brother role seems to make him better behaved. Tux was born into a colony in Leslieville last winter, and was the runt of his litter. While he is the happiest boy imaginable, his rough start left him perpetually pint-sized, and gifted him with chronically inflamed gums. He has responded very well to treatment, but needs a patient and loving adopter who is happy to spend a few minutes a day keeping his teeth clean and adding dental care supplements to his food and water to help keep his mouth from getting too painful. In return, Tux will offer you a never-ending supply of love and laughter! Tux would be a great buddy for a new kitten, or an amazing only cat for someone who is looking for a single cuddly, affectionate, and entertaining companion - and has plenty of time to smother Tux with love!
