Meet Scooby - chatty kitty!

Scooby is a senior kitty who is about 10-13 years old. We are not sure of his exact age because he came to us from another rescue and we didn't get past vet files on him. We know he is an older kitty though. He is a super sweet cat who loves everyone he meets- dogs, cats, or children. He likes to cuddle up and sleep on people's lap no matter if you are watching TV or playing a video game. He currently lives with other cats, a loud obnoxious dog, and 2 children. He loves the children, but they have grown up with cats and have been taught to be respectful to them. He has lived in this foster home for since September of 2014. Oddly enough when he moved in the foster mom noticed immediately that noise did not bother him, nor did he flinch when the dog or children got loud. After much observation it has been discovered Scooby is deaf. It doesn't effect anything that he does though. He knows when he gets his canned food and is right there waiting for it. For being a chaotic house it is a hidden blessing for him since he can sleep through anything. He is a talker though and will use his voice to let you know when he wants something. If you are looking for a great older cat then Scooby is your man.

Before applying for this cat, please think the decision over thoroughly and make sure the whole family is in agreement. Owning a cat is a huge responsibility that is not something that should be rushed into. Each cat from Rescued Treasures has been saved from an uncertain future. If you are thinking about adopting, please remember it is a LIFE-LONG commitment. Cats can live to be at least 14 years old...are you ready to take care of him/her that long?e of him/her that long?
