Meet Kong
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our dog adoption questionnaire http://www.homewardtrails.org/adopt-a-pet/adoption-forms/ and e-mail it to HTARMiranda@gmail.com.
Meet Kong, a funny little guy who will steal your heart if given the chance. He's had a tough start to life so he thinks he needs to act like a bad boy but deep down he's a love bug. He loves to play with his toys and hang out on the sofa or on his favorite dog bed napping. He has such a funny personality he will make you laugh when he puts on his little doggy show by rolling around with big smiles!
Kong can sometimes guard his bed or toys (hey, I would too if this was the first time I ever had a clean, warm bed in 8 years!!) but a firm voice always wins him over. Because of this, it's probably best he go to a home with no young children.
He would love a home that promises to spoil him and treat him like the King (Kong) he is! Apply to adopt him today!
Breed Estimate: Pug/Chihuahua mix
Gender: Male
Approximate weight: 18lbs
Approximate age: 8 years old
Location: foster home
Cratetrained: yes
Coat Type: flat
Personality: bossy pants with a heart of gold
The adoption fee for this dog is $275. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. They include surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Our adult animal fees range and are based on: fees we pay to shelters; vetting costs; transport costs and boarding costs. Some animals cost more than others to rescue so that is why our fees range from $275-$350.
