No permanent outside runs or tie outs, are allowed. We strongly encourage a fence. Every dog is spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on shots and heartworm checked.

Coco is a 3-yr-old German Shep mix from Des Moines who needs a home that offers more than we can. We've had her since 8 months old, and she's become a friendly girl who's good w/kids, LOVES other dogs & was fine w/our cat. At 35 lbs., she stands 19" tall at her shoulders.

Her high energy level requires an acreage or yard w/a high privacy fence, and preferably a dog buddy for company. A chain link fence won't cut it; she learned to climb ours last summer.


Coco is past her chewing stage and loves to chase toys, as well as squirrels & rabbits (maybe hunting potential!?). Totally housebroken, each night she has free run of our house. She likes to lay in our recliners & snuggle with us. She'd sleep w/us if we let her!

Coco is current on a heartworm preventative. She might do well with an electric fence or obedience training. We can deliver Coco anywhere, but will ask for photos of her new environment in advance to make sure it's the best fit for both you & Coco.
