Meet Mickey

Mickey is a cute, long-haired Chihuahua mix in need of a new home. He is believed to be eleven years old and was rescued by his family ten years ago. He is very affectionate, smart, playful, house trained, and loves every bit of attention that he can get. He lost his eye to a larger dog about six years ago and is now extremely scared and aggressive around other dogs that he does not know. He currently lives with another dog who he likes, and he will warm up to new dogs but is generally uncomfortable when encountering them in the neighborhood. Mickey is not comfortable with small children (his current family just had a new baby) – he likes most adults who don’t pull/poke him and whose movements are predictable. His perfect day is filled with a lot of time sitting on someone’s lap with the occasional game of fetch.
