Our Story: Bea and Young Sir are a bonded pair. They are super sweet and are around to soak up any and all affection they can get. They llanded with JCCARE through no fault of their own after their former owner was no longer physically able to care for them.

More about Bea and Young Sir: Bea is so sweet and quiet and shy at first. She eventually comes out of her shell but you have to be very patient and loving. Bea has to know where Young Sir is all of the time to know that he is okay. One night we took Young Sir up stairs to sleep. A couple of hours later there was this noise that sounded like a cat yowling from downstairs. The noise was Bea calling out for Young Sir. Once he was back with her she was happy as a lark.

Bea is a very gentle and polite little girl. It does take a little time to get used to her new surroundings. Young Sir will jump up on counter tops when there is no one around to hang out with him. He never does it if a human is in the same room. Young Sir has the softest and silkiest fur I have ever felt. They are a sweet pair and I think they would be wonderful dogs for a retired human.

If you aren’t ready to adopt yet but would like to help these dogs, please click on the purple SPONSOR ME button above the name. Your donation will help us to pay for the care of this dog until he/she finds a furever home.

JCCARE also maintains the lives of many senior and special needs Chin in our “Sanctuary” program. These dogs are not listed on petfinder, as their health issues make them unlikely to ever be adopted. If you are a lover of the breed, could you please consider sponsoring one of our seniors? You can find their pictures and stories under OUR CHIN on our web site: www.japanesechinrescue.org
