Uno (IL) English Pointer Bridgeton, NJ

This young boy (18 months - 2 years) was pulled from a kill shelter in Illinois. He is very friendly. He is also very, very interested in birds and has a beautiful point. He could make a really good hunting companion in addition to being a family pet. Uno had a pretty severe case of Heartworms and recently completed treatment. The vet wants to wait a few months before neutering Uno and also wants to do a re-test for Heartworms in May 2015. At this time Uno is only available for placement as a foster dog or if you are interested in adopting Uno you can ask us about our "foster to adopt" program. With this program you could foster Uno until we are sure his health is perfect and he is neutered and then finalize the adoption. Uno is great with other dogs and also good with cats. He loves to run in the fenced yard and play with other dogs. Uno is also trained to an invisible fence.
