Meet Joey

Hi there, my name is Joey. I'm 11 years old, but I don't feel a day over 8. Some how I ended up in a scary stinky shelter. I was beside myself with fear and confusion. I don't know where my family went or my toys and blankets. But my lucky day came and a nice lady from NEBTR got me out of there. Now I'm with my foster mom in a safe clean house with other guys like me. I love to play with the other dogs but I tend to guard my toys which can get me in trouble. So when I'm by myself I can have all the toys I want. Foster mom takes me on walks and I am a very good boy. There is one thing you should know, I'm deaf. I know right, bummer. But its really OK. I hardly ever bark and foster mom is teaching me hand signals. I'm learning sit, stay and come. So no big deal. I love my crate and sleep there at night and I never potty in the house. I'm a real love bug. I just really want a home of my own again. Maybe that could be you.
Love, Joey
