Meet Greta
Greta is a medium sized older lab mix that was rescued from the shelter after her previous owners moved and left her behind in the yard. This girl is AMAZING, even after all she has been through. Her tail hasn’t stopped wagging since she went to her foster home!
Don’t let her white muzzle fool you….despite her low key personality, she still has quite a bit of spunk left in her and she is so expressive! She loves walks and does great on a leash and is housebroken. She’s not a fan of the crate….I think it reminds her of the shelter; but that’s ok because she has been a perfect lady in the house, even when left alone.
No issues with bathing, eating, thunder, and no whining at night even though she is downstairs and can’t climb our long (and slippery) flight of stairs.
She is in foster. She prefers to be an only dog; although she did live with a quiet older dog in the past. She is amazing with kids too! She seems to want to chase cats, so a cat free home would be best. She loves to be loved, and will nuzzle up for attention and belly rubs, but also knows if you have had enough. She would make a good jogging partner.
For more details on this precious lady, email adoptfromarno@yahoo.com.The adoption fee is $200 and includes spay, shots, a chip and rabies. She is available through the senior hospice program. Even though very healthy through the hospice program you would pay day to day care like shots, heartworm and flea preventative but ARNO would cover any extraordinary care through our vets.
