Dallas Boxer & Husky Mix Murray, KY

Dallas is a friendly puppy surrendered by his owner with his two siblings. He weighed 5.12 lbs. on 6/25/14. He is current on all puppy shots, has been wormed, and has had flea prevention. He has had some socialization with both children and adults. He is approximately 7 weeks old and currently in foster care. He will probably be a medium to large dog when grown.
If you have the time for training and the love to bring Dallas into your home, please fill out an application. Our puppy donation fee is $175 with $75 being refunded after proof of neuter at about 6-8 months of age.


 
Dog Adoption Guidelines:
 

You must fill out an application to be considered for adoption. You can fill out an application at www.forthepets.org/adoption.htm or email to humanesociety@murray-ky.net for an application.
It is not a "first come" process; we try to "match" the dog with the family for a FOREVER home. We process all applications at once and take the dog off the site, place on adoption pending status until a decision is made. If a suitable home is not found, the dog returns to active status.
The dog adoption process can take about two weeks; we are a small group of volunteers who have full time jobs.
All of our dogs are indoor dogs with outdoor privileges, unless otherwise specified.
We do not fly or ship our dogs due to heat/cold concerns and safety issues. If you are willing to fly out AND fly the dog back in the cabin (size restrictions) with you, that would be considered.
If you apply to adopt a dog and are chosen, you must come to Murray, KY to pick up the dog and fill out the paperwork in person.
We do adopt out-of-state, but we do not transport.
We can't provide individual "meet and greet" sessions for each applicant. If chosen to adopt, you will have time to visit with the dog before signing any paperwork and will not be committed to adopt if you choose not to at that time.
