Meet Dutch
Dutch is a little senior bunny - 9 years young! Kinda like grandpa, who likes to sit in a rocking chair on the porch and tell good stories- Dutch has many- but he still has that sparkle in his eye, that youthful spirit, and that unexpected burst of energy. You could see him napping on the couch all afternoon and then turn around and see him binkying on your kitchen floor like he's on Dance Fever. That's our precious Dutch.
But, he needs a forever home. He wants to spend the rest of his golden years in the company of a wonderful family in his own home. What's that saying- it's not about the years of your life but the life in your years? Dutch may not have as many years left as a young bunny, but the time you get to spend with him will be unique, tender, loving, exciting, and rewarding. And happy. And that's what you came here looking for, right?
Some things you should know about Dutch: he has a collapsed lung with a benign mass, which is inoperable but doesn't present any problems for him at this time. Also, he will need molar trims 3-4 times a year, likely under anesthesia ($3-400 each). THE GOOD NEWS: He's a Sunset Sanctuary bunny, which means if you adopt him, he will receive regular routine veterinary care at HRS (on Sundays), plus you get discounts in our Hop Shop, an exercise pen, and litter box!
What are you waiting for, come meet him!
