ROMEO!!! Boxer & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Lawrenceville, GA

Here's Romeo! He's a handsome young dog (about 2 years old) who needs a great home. Romeo was rescued from a local Animal Control just in the nick of time. He came to us on Christmas Even 2013, with a broken leg. He had surgery, and he's 100% healthy now! He wore a corrective device for a while, as you can see in his photos, but he is now free of that. He is as good as new. Romeo's foster mom tells us that he is a very sweet boy with a great spirit and sense of adventure. He enjoys long walks and hiking with his foster family. He does fine with children, other female dogs (whose size and energy level match his) and he has lived around cats. Romeo is so eager to please! He just needs an active person or family who can provide him with the exercise that he needs. He'd love to find a home with a fenced yard and another female dog for a buddy. This sweet boy is safe and secure now, but he's been through a lot, and deserves a long and happy life with a caring owner. If you'd like to meet Romeo, please let us know!
Romeo is fully vetted -- spayed/neutered, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $150 (cash only, please).
