Meet Bertie- Sanctuary Cat-Seeking a Forever Foster
Bertie is eating a special diet of KD prescribed to him by our vet. He is in the early stages of renal failure so we are being proactive and treating him as directed. He will remain a part of our sanctuary program and can be placed into a foster home that would care for him indefinitely. He has bonded with his present fosters and loves to hang out with the kitty crew. What a darling boy he is!
Bertie came back to us recently due to his caretaker passing away. He was truly loved by his previous person and would really love another lap to cuddle up on for his retirement years.
Albert was brought into rescue on December 19, 2013. He quickly found his loving home thanks to the efforts of volunteers and friends. Albert was to become a loving companion to a woman who had recently lost her beloved dog. Many years they spent together and she was heartbroken when she lost him. When we brought Albert over for his home visit, you could see her heart was in pain. We were hopeful that Albert would be the joy that would fill her heart with love again. On 2/11/14 we went over to visit and to finish up our paperwork and we were elated to see both of them shining. The smile on her face was from ear to ear. Albert looks AMAZING, his coat and eyes were all shiny. What a wonderful gift they are to each other. We are so grateful for the home that Albert now has and also for the love he will give her. A double blessing.
