Somebunny Rabbit Dwarf & Polish Mix Sacramento, CA

Somebunny was surrender to the shelter and taken home by one of our volunteers to be fostered. She has an outgoing personality and likes to play with her toys. She will roll a ball back and forth with people and loves interaction with humans although she is used to a small dog and house cats.

Sombunny is a small, white dwarf with blue eyes. She is about 3 lbs. and our exotic vet who spayed her said she was about a year old.

Sometimes people make the mistake of assuming smaller rabbits need less space and will get them as pets for small children. Small rabbits have a lot of energy and need as much space if not more than larger breeds. They are also fragile with delicate skeletons that can be injured easily by small children, cats, or dogs that mistake them for toys.

We hope to find Somebunny a home where adults will be her primary caregivers and she can be part of a loving family. Come meet her at one of our upcoming adoption events.


 
All rabbits are spayed/neutered (age permitting) and litter box trained. All rabbits are to be adopted to indoor homes only.

Current bunny parents are encouraged to bring their rabbits to adoption clinics if they are interested in adopting a companion rabbit. Your rabbit must be spayed or neutered to be eligible to meet one of our fosters. HRS volunteers will be happy to help your bunny through that feisty first date.

*We are always prepared to trim nails during adoption day. If your bunny has matted fur, call our bunny line in advance (916-863-9690) to make arrangements for a fur makeover. Donations of $10 are appreciated!
