Smokey Joe Chihuahua Portland, OR

Oh really, age is just a number! Smokey Joe is a (young) senior at 12 years old. He might be a senior dog but he has lots of spirit in his step and a tail that never stops wagging.

Smokey Joe is a member of the Lonely Hearts Club, and it comes with benefits. Smokey Joe has an adoption fee of $100. Smokey Joe has had a full dental check as well as a dental cleaning since he has been with us. He has also had full blood work up and all of the other tests and vaccinations we do for all of the dogs we bring into rescue.

Smokey has waited for over a year for a home. We know his person is out there.

He will bring someone lots of love. He takes a little time to warm up and trust, but he bonds fast to his person. He can be afraid of some men and would love a lady to just hang out with him. Lap time makes him very happy. He is great on leash. Sits on command. Will do just about anything for his person.

Smokey doesn’t much care for the high energy of an adoption event so he gets left out of the fun, and it limits who gets to meet him.

Smokey Joe’s is around 12 years old, he is about 13 lbs, a Chihuahua with a beautiful gray face. He currently lives with a cat, dog, and two baby pigs. He has been in our rescue 1 year and 7 months! Let’s make his wait to come end and find this boy his home!
