Why am I with a rescue group? Mojo was released to the Greenville shelter by his owners after they could no longer afford to care for him. It is very obvious that he was once a beloved companion, as he is very friendly and affectionate. He knows how to sit in a lap, and absolutely enjoys it! He is very curious and interested in new things, he sniffs around and checks out all of his surroundings. He doesn't immediately show attention to potential adopters, but given some time he warms up and becomes your best friend.

Mojo is not house trained. He does well with a belly band, but unfortunately our routine here does not allow us to fully train him to this. This really is his only flaw. He is a perfectly behaved little gentleman in every other aspect.

He has recently had a dental done on his teeth, and is as far as we know, healthy.

UPDATE 12/01/2014: I really thought I had hit the jackpot with a new home, but life happens and my new owner became ill and could not care for me. I am having a great time back at my foster mom's house. We are getting ready for Christmas! My foster mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas (we were writing to Santa) and all I want for Christmas is my forever home. I am a loving little guy with lots of life left--if you have a spot in your heart and your home, please complete an application--I am ready to go!

Update 3/18/14: Mojo went to the Atlanta Pet Fair on March the 8-9th. He came down the 8th, spent the night at a voulnteers house and went to the rescue rodeo the 9th. On Saturday him and his friends that were participating in the pet fair were unloaded into the volunteers back yard. They romped and played until it was time to go inside and sleep for the night. Everyone woke up before the rooster crowed and headed over to the Hilton hotel to get ready for the rodeo. Mojo went back to get a bath and get started on grooming around 8 AM, they were finished around 1. After judging before the groomer could even get him off the table people were coming up and asking how to adopt him. Mojo was a hit at the pet fair, and had a wonderful time.
